Police investigating link between suspicious man in Kincardine and Fullarton

South Bruce OPP are not ruling out a possible connection between a suspicious man in a pick-up who yelled at a student in Kincardine and a similar incident near Fullarton on Monday.

On September 17, a pickup truck was heading west on Russell Street in Kincardine at 3:15 p.m. when the driver stopped and called out to a student walking home from school. The student did not respond and ran away. The pickup left the area. The pickup is described as red with a broken driver's side tail light. The student did not see the license plate.

The male in question is described as roughly 35-40 years old with a scruffy beard, wearing a clown-like hat and Hawaiian style shorts.

South Bruce Constable Kevin Martin said they aware of the incident in Fullarton.

"At this point, we're are in the early stages of our investigation," said South Bruce Constable Kevin Martin. "We will take any tips you can generate for us, we'll follow it up and follow the evidence wherever it takes us."

Officers are hoping someone can identify the man in question, and if you know anything regarding this incident, you should contact South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
