West Grey police partner with MedicAlert

The West Grey Police Service announced on Monday that it is partnering with MedicAlert.

Starting August 28 of this year, MedicAlert will be assisting West Grey police officers who are interacting with vulnerable people, including those who are living with autism, dementia, Alzheimer’s or other cognitive brain injuries. The assistance is through the MedicAlert Connect Protect program, which will also help officers in finding lost or missing individuals and get them back to their families.

The MedicAlert program will give officers 24-hour access to MedicAlert registered subscribers emergency profiles, which will help officers assist those most vulnerable citizens more efficiently.
