Cyclones announce coaching staff

The Listowel Cyclones announced their coaching staff for the upcoming season.

Jesse Cole is taking over as head coach. He was previously the clubs general manager and assistant coach. He takes over for Jason Brooks who took the team to the Sutherland Cup final last season after claiming the provincial title the year before.

He will be assisted by Brett Nichol, Jeff Goldie and Brady Anderson.

Nichol played six games with the Cyclones in 2007-08 and spent most of his junior hockey career with the Wingham Ironmen.

Goldie's hockey career includes four years with the University of Waterloo and seven seasons split between the WPHL, CHL and UHL south of the border. The native of Owen Sound spent one season with the Owen Sound Greys and also played four games with the Cyclones during the 1989-90 season.

Anderson, the youngest member of the coaching staff, spent most of his junior hockey career with the Cyclones including the Sutherland Cup winning team in 2017-18 where he had 9 goals and 11 assists in 25 playoff games for Listowel. Anderson was drafted to the team in 2014.
