Team Canada keeps on rolling at Men's Softball World Championship

Stephen Mullaley, Blake Hunter and Bryan Abrey all went deep in Canada's 4-1 win over the USA at the WBSC Men's Softball World Championship.

Hunter and Abrey belted back-to-back home runs in the second to give Canada a 2-0 lead and Mullaley hit a solo shot to centre field in the third to make it 3-0. It was Mullaley's fourth homer of the tournament.

Matt Palazzo scored the American's only run of the game with a solo homer of his own in the top of the fourth.

Patrick Burns earned the win for the Canadians, working five plus innings and striking out five while allowing just two hits. Scott Lieph allowed just two hits in relief.

Team Canada is now 4-0 and plays Venezuela this morning in a battle of unbeaten teams.
