The Town of Saugeen Shores and the Ontario Clean Water Agency are responding to an emergency water main break in Port Elgin.
The issue is in the area of Harbour Street in Port Elgin, between Green Street and Izzard Street Water service to residents in the vicinity of Harbour Street may be affected during the repair. Residents may notice discolouration and a lack of water pressure as well.
Crews are on-scene now doing repairs, and once those are finished, regular water service will resume and the road will be repaired. Repairs are expected to be completed later this evening.
