Team Canada sits atop Pool B at 3-0 following a 4-1 win over Australia.
Derek Mayson belted at three run homer in the fourth to give Canada a 3-0 lead. Brad Ezekiel hit a double to left centre field to drive in Keis Walushka in the bottom of the fifth.
Sean Cleary struck out 10, allowing just two hits to earn the win.
Liam O'Leary scored the Steelers' only run in the top of the sixth.
