Some local athletes are bringing home hardware from the first day of competition at the OFSAA High School Track and Field Championships.
Ben Brewer of Kincardine District Secondary School won gold in midget boys shot put. Harley Martin of Sacred Heart High School in Walkerton won silver in midget girls shot put.
The OFSAA Track and Field Championships are taking place at the University of Guelph.
