Police charge male in connection with deadly crash on Highway 6

A Chatsworth man has been charged in the death of another man killed in a collision last November.

On Monday, November 19, 2018, Wellington County OPP and local emergency services responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 6 just north of Kenilworth. The crash claimed the life of 31-year-old Wade Brodie of West Grey.

Police announced on Thursday that they have charged 21-year-old Chatsworth native Morgan Ottewell with careless driving causing death. Ottewell was also seriously injured in the crash and was transported to Hamilton with serious injuries.

Ottewell has a court date scheduled for April 3 of this year in Guelph to answer to the charge.
