PJHL: Walkerton, Exeter, Wingham all of decisive playoff series leads

Hanover 6 Walkerton 1 (Hawks lead the series 3-2)

Mark Aljoe scored and set up two more for Hanover in the Barons' 6-1 win over Walkerton. The Hawks still lead their PJHL Pollock Division quarter final 3-2.

Brandon Richardson and Jorden Reaman each struck twice. Derek Cornfield set up three of the Barons' goals.

Adel Zivojevic spoiled Brendon Landry's shut out bid with a goal with less than five minutes left in the game.

Mitchell 4 Kincardine 0 (Series tied 2-2)

After a scoreless first two periods, Mitchell scored four times in the third and beat Kincardine 4-0. That series is now tied 2-2.

Jarett Bogdon led the Hawks with a goal and an assist. Tyson Moore, Ethan Hill and Braeden Brudett also scored for Mitchell.

Ryan Govier earned the shut out with a 44 save performance.

Craig Luinstra made 38 saves for the Bulldogs.

Goderich 6 Wingham 4 (Ironmen lead the series 3-1)

Goderich scored four times in the third and staved off elimination with a 6-4 win over Wingham.

Trent Michie led the Flyers with a hat trick and an assist. Brennan Long scored and had a helper i the win.

Jamie Huber led the Ironmen with a goal and two assists.

The Ironmen still lead their Pollock Division quarter final 3-1.

Exeter 4 Aylmer 1 (Hawks lead the series 3-0)

The Exeter Hawks scored three times in the third, breaking open a close game and beating Aylmer 4-1. The Hawks can sweep the series with one more win.

Jon Baker, Nick Sammons and Liam Melady all scored and had an assist in the win. Derek Smith also found the twine for the Hawks.

The Hawks can advance to the semifinals with a win on Wednesday.
