A local concert in Owen Sound this week will be giving proceeds to a local cause.
The Don Buchanan Trio will perform Jazz Standards, Show Tunes and Scottish Love Ballads with OSLT vocalist Jamie Smith at Heartwood Concert Hall on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 8pm. Don Buchanan (piano and sax) will be joined by Paul Danard (bass) and Steve Wood (drums) delivering the musical backdrop for Smith.
A part of the proceeds of the show will be going toward Chapman House to benefit the Hospice in Owen Sound. Tickets are $13 each at Heartwood Home at 939 2nd Avenue East and on-line on ticketfly. Tickets at the door will be $15. Doors open at 7pm. Showtime is 8pm.
