Five people have been charged with drug-related offences following the execution of a search warrant at a property at the Saugeen First Nation.
The Ontario Provincial Police Grey Bruce Community Street Crime Unit, with the assistance of the Huron-Perth CSCU Emergency Response team, as well as members of the Bruce Peninsula OPP, executed the search around 7 a.m. on Wednesday.
A 44-year-old Forest man, 49-year-old Saugeen First Nation man, 35-year-old Saugeen First Nation man, and a 25-year-old Saugeen First Nation woman have all been charged with possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, oxycodone, nabilone and psilocybin.
Additionally, a 48-year-old Saugeen First Nation man has been charged with possession of oxycodone, and possession of ammunition contrary to a prohibition order.
All five are scheduled to appear in Walkerton court on February 27.
