Suzuki and Durzi already producing for Guelph

Nick Suzuki is already making his presence felt with the Guelph Storm, scoring the game winning goal at 2:19 of overtime and adding an assist to give the Storm a 6-5 win over Niagara.

The former captain of the Owen Sound Attack was acquired in a trade earlier this week. The trade also included Sean Durzi who set up three of the Storm’s goals last night.

Nate Schnarr sent the game into overtime with just seven seconds left in regulation.

The Storm had led 4-2 midway through the second when Niagara scored three back-to-back goals in the second and third to take the lead. Ben Jones had two of the goals for the Ice Dogs.

Anthony Popovich stopped 39 shots to earn the win. Stephen Dhillon made 27 saves for Niagara.
