Unusual items stolen in Morris-Turnberry break-ins

Electronics, cash, jewellery and power tools are hot commodities for thieves, however, they will take just about whatever they can get their hands on.

In a recent break-enter-and-theft on Black Line in Morris-Turnberry, Huron County OPP report thieves stole some scaffolding equipment, about 70 sheets of plywood and an industrial vacuum cleaner.

The eight ends of scaffolding were valued at $1,600 and the sheets of 3/8" plywood were valued at $1,750.

In a separate incident, thieves stole two high-end airless paint sprayers from a property within the Turnberry Estates on Amberley Road.  The paint sprayers had a total value of over $7,000.

Along with the sprayers, a Cox brand electric hose rewind motor with 600 feet of blue hose and two 20 volt Dewalt cordless drills were also stolen.

Anyone with information regarding these crimes is asked to contact Huron OPP or Crime Stoppers.
