OHL: Attack rally for the win

Owen Sound 3 Guelph 2

The Owen Sound Attack rallied from a two-goal first period deficit to beat Guelph 3-2.

Kevin Hancock sparked the Attack late in the second. Sean Durzi tied the game early in the third and Kaleb Pearson scored the game winner midway through the final frame.

Hancock and Pearson led the Attack with a goal and an assist each.

Nate Schnarr and Liam Hawel scored for the Storm.

Andrew MacLean earned the win with 44 saves. Anthonly Popovich stopped 36 shots for Guelph.

The Attack are four points back of London for first in the Midwest. They are back in action Friday when they visit the Kingston Frontenacs.

Oshawa 4 Kitchener 3 (OT)

Rickard Hugg tied the game with 42 seconds left in regulation but the Kitchener Rangers couldn't complete the rally and lost 4-3 to Oshawa in overtime.

Serron Noel had the game winner for the Generals 41 seconds into the extra frame. It was his second of the game.

Nick McHugh and Donovan Sebrango also scored the Kitchener.
