PJHL Wrap: McLlwain leads Hawks to victory; Carson closes the door on the Flyers

Exeter 6 North Middlesex 3

Carter McLlwain struck twice and set up another to lead Exeter to a 6-3 win over North Middlesex.

Jake Weston had three assists in the win and Troy Kennedy scored and set up one more for the Hawks.

Sam Baker led the Stars with a hat trick, including two back-to-back power play goals in the final three minutes of the third.

Three of the Hawks goals came with the man advantage.

Wingham 5 Goderich 0

Devon Carson made 18 saves to earn the shut out and Wingham blanked Goderich 5-0.

Matt Tolton scored two of the Ironmen's goals. Jamie Huber scored and had two assists in the win. Shane Vollmer and Parker Gibbings also found the back of the net.

Huber's goal just 40 seconds into the game would stand as the winner.
