Waterloo, Sarnia and Elmira all earn wins

Waterloo 4 Kitchener 3

The Kitchener Dutchmen let a three goal lead slip, falling 4-3 to Waterloo in overtime.

Tyler Harrison scored just 41 seconds into the game and Sean Kawalec added another for the Dutchmen at 16:51 of the opening frame to put Kitchener up 2-0 heading into the second.

Chris Taylor's power play goal at 7:39 of the second put the Dutchmen up 3-0. Sam Cherry sparked the Siskins late rally with a goal with just 40 seconds left in the second.

Tyler Dam and Alex Lycett each scored on the power play late in the third to give force extra time.

Cherry had the game winner at 3:12 of the extra frame.

Cherry led the Siskins with two goals and an assist. Dam had a goal and two assists in the win.

Machus Turner allowed all three of the Dutchmen's goals on 19 shots before Matt Onuska took over and shut the door, stopping all 19 shots he faced and earning the win for Waterloo.

Lucas Patton stopped 30 shots for Kitchener.

Elmira 5 Brantford 2

Elmira led 3-0 by the midway point of the game and held on for a 5-2 win over Brantford.

Jakson Kirk led the Sugar Kings with a goal and two assists. Jonah Burley's power play goal at 7:19 of the second would stand as the game winner.

Tyson Hillier, Ty Biles and Zack Cameron also scored for Elmira.

Sarnia 2 St. Marys 1

Jake Weston was the lone scorer for the Lincolns, giving St. Marys a brief one goal lead in the latter half of the second and the Lincolns lost 2-1 to St. Marys.

Jon Sanderson tied the game just 47 seconds into the third and Jake Vince scored the game winner two minutes later.
