PJHL: Bulldogs shut Out Orillia

Midland 5 Walkerton 4 (OT)

Austin Vanwyck forced extra time late in the third, scoring unassisted with an extra attacker on the ice but the Walkerton Hawks couldn't find the back of the net in overtime, losing 5-4 to Midland.

Gary Manz led the Hawks offense with a pair of goals. Vanwyck scored and had an assist in the loss.

Lucas Rogers scored the game winner for the Flyers.

Wingham 4 Huntsville 2

Wingham rallied from a two goal deficit to beat Huntsville 4-2.

The Otters scored to early back-to-back goals less than six minutes into the game. Kyle Stanbury scored on the power play to put the Ironmen on the board with just over three minutes left in the period.

Kyle Langlois notched the equalizer just over six minutes into the second.

Logan Tolton's goal midway through the third would stand as the game winner and Stanbury scored his second of the game to add insurance with six-and-a-half minutes left in the game.

Kincardine 3 Orillia 0

The Bulldogs broke open a scoreless game early in the third and went on to beat Orillia 3-0.

Joshua Traynor scored at 4:22 of the final frame and that would stand as the game winner. Brett Burrows scored two back-to-back goals to add insurance. Burrows also assisted on Traynor's goal.

Craig Luinstra earned the shut out with a 27 save performance.
