Another successful Festival Of Wizardry in Blyth

The Festival of Wizardry battled a Wind Warning on the event's first day, but came together to enjoy another successful year at the Blyth campground.

The popular festival once again drew thousands to the Village of Blyth, with attendees and vendors both noting the unique crowd and its special offerings in the ways of Harry Potter-themed events and merchandise.

President & CEO Nathan Swartz said this year featured more BIA participation from Blyth, and noted some stores broke sales records last year.   He said although the wind forced all attendees inside on Friday, the weekend went off as planned.

Swartz said he can't thank the Blyth community and the Municipality of North Huron enough, and that it never fails to have stores and vendors talk about how great the attendees are.

Swartz confirms the festival plans to return to Blyth in 2019.
