The Town of South Bruce Peninsula, Saugeen Shores and Kincardine have joined the growing list of municipalities banning open-air fires and fireworks.
Earlier on Monday, the fire chief in Lucknow said there is now a total burn ban in effect for the Lucknow Fire Service coverage area.
That includes Kinloss, Ashfield and West Wawanosh townships.
There are no exceptions and the ban will remain in effect until further notice.
This is the latest in a number of bans local municipalities have put in place as this dry spell continues.
Other areas with bans include Huron County, Brockton, South Bruce, North Bruce Peninsula. Owen Sound, Grey Highlands, West Grey, Hanover, Georgian Bluffs and now all of Perth County.
