Two Women Charged For Break And Enter Goderich

Two Central Huron women are facing charges following a break-in in Goderich this past weekend.

Early Saturday morning, OPP officers received a call from a witness who observed someone climbing out of the donation bin that's attached to the St. Vincent de Paul store in Goderich. The suspects were spotted loading up a vehicle with bags of clothing and housewares that were taken from the donation bin.

A short time later, the suspect vehicle was stopped in Clinton. The investigation and search of their vehicle determined the driver and her passenger were in possession of property that was stolen from the thrift store.

The two Central Huron women, one aged 27, the other aged 38, were charged with break and enter to commit theft.

Both have been released from custody with court appearances scheduled for March 12 in Goderich.
