Conners Low Canadian at Farmer's Insurance Open

Listowel's Corey Conners had his best finish on the PGA Tour so far, tying for 29th with a 2-under 286 at the Farmer's Insurance Open.

Conners was the low Canadian at the event, ahead of Adam Hadwin who finished tied for 35th at 1-under 287. Ben Silverman finished tied for 67th and Nick Taylor finished tied for 75th. Mac Hughes and David Hearn failed to make the cut.

There is a three-way tie for first place at 10-under 278. The playoff was suspended due to darkness and the tournament champion will be decided today.

Jason Day and Alex Noren are still left after five playoff holes. Ryan Palmer has already been eliminated.

Prior to the Farmer's Insurance Open, Conners best result was at the Safeway open when he finished tied for 30th.
