The Wingham Ironmen jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first and went on to beat Hanover 5-1.
Logan Tolton struck twice for the Ironmen. Josh Higgins scored and set up two of Wingham's goals. Jacob Bishop and Kyle Stanbury also scored for the Ironmen.
Josh Gottfried was the lone scorer for the Barons.
In net, Wyatt Nicholson earned the win with a 23 save performance. Luke Aulthouse stopped 25 shots for the Barons.
The two teams were the only ones in the PJHL's Pollock Division able to play, with weather postponing Walkerton's trip to Mount Forest and the inter-division match-up between Orillia and Mitchell.
