Winter Weather Moves In For The Next Few Days

Grey and Bruce counties are under a Snow Squall Warning today, and Huron, Perth and northern Wellington remain under a Snow Squall Watch.

Narrow bands of heavy snow are expected today off Lake Huron. A strong west-northwest wind will make blowing snow a problem for drivers.

Local snowfall amounts of 8 to 10 cms are expected in the heaviest snow squalls. Bursts of blowing snow are expected in the snow squalls.    Visibility may be reduced at times.

Intermittent snow squalls will continue into tonight and Friday.  Another 5 to 10 cms can be expected in some areas.   Drivers should be prepared to change travel plans.

Roads across our region are already slippery and slushy in places today.
