Stratford Police Make Significant Drug Arrests

Stratford police have made three significant drug-related arrests after a two-month investigation.

Stratford Police Street Crime Unit and the Ontario Provincial Police Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Unit, with the assistance of the West Region Emergency Response Team arrested a 37-year-old woman in Cambridge Monday afternoon.

Following the woman's arrest, police seized 80.3 g of suspected methamphetamine, 28 g of suspected fentanyl and 22 g of suspected cocaine. Police say $3,754.35 in Canadian currency, as well as drug packaging, scales and paraphernalia were also seized.

A search warrant was then conducted at a home in Huron County, where a 42-year-old male and 27-year-old male were also arrested.

During the raid, police located and seized 731 g of methamphetamine, 11.98 g of fentanyl, 105.7 g of cocaine, 0.61 g of heroin, four 6 mg hydromorphone pills, 23 g cannabis resin, 177.57 g marijuana bud, 26 immature plants and 557 g of marijuana shake. Offices also recovered a number of offence-related items, including scales, cell phones, packaging, $3,050 in Canadian currency, two shotguns and tw0 rifles.

The total estimated street value of the drugs is estimated at around $89,950. The estimated street value of the offence-related items is $10,000.

In total, police have laid 35 charges between the three suspects, and they are being held for bail hearings.
