Monkton, Atwood and Mitchell fire departments all responded to the scene of a barn fire west of Monkton, on Monday.
The call came in shortly after 4am for Monkton fire crews to respond to a farm on Line 53 near Road 180.
Atwood was called to assist, and shortly after, crews requested a tanker truck be brought from Mitchell.
