Local Field Hockey Team Heads to Summer Games

A team of U16 field hockey players from Midwestern Ontario are headed for Mississauga to compete in the Ontario Summer Games.

Goderich natives Emma Davison, Meagan Tamming, Riley Shore, Brynn Lewis, Kendra Menchenton, Shea Frayne, Fiona McIlhargey, Neeliah Lewis and Sydney Pollock all of Goderich and Anne Rothwell of Listowel are part of the 14 players squad.

Coaches Ray Lewis and Shannon Vance, both from Goderich, are leading the team.

Games start Friday morning at Iceland Fields in Mississauga.
