Teeswater Kinsmen Commit to Wingham's 'Our Hospital, Our Future' Campaign

The capital fundraising campaign by the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation has received it's first major donation from the Municipality of South Bruce.

The Teeswater and District Kinsmen Club has pledged $50,000 over five years to the Foundation’s Our Hospital, Our Future campaign.

A significant number of patients from South Bruce are served by the Wingham and District Hospital.

Kinsmen member Steve Tiffin said, "The Kinsmen recognize the importance of the Hospital to our community and it was important to the club to step forward and be part of this project".

The Our Hospital, Our Future campaign has raised over 70 per cent of the $4 million goal.

All donations will go towards the renovation and expansion of six Wingham hospital departments, including the only chemotherapy clinic in Huron and Bruce counties; the replacement of digital imaging equipment; and the creation of a community healthcare campus in the former Wingham Public School.
