Organizers of the 18th Annual Meaford Chamber of Commerce Banquet and Awards Night report they have nominees for every one of the seven awards they plan to present Saturday.
Chamber manager Maryann Almas says they received eight nominations for the Customer Service Award - the most nominations for any award. Five of the seven awards go to local businesses.
The Special Merit Award goes to a volunteer organization or service club. The Peter Francis Memorial Award is presented to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership over many years.
Tickets for the Banquet and Awards Night are still on sale at the Meaford Chamber of Commerce office for $55 each including HST.
