Junior Achievement, a not-for-profit organization, is bringing three new installments of its Company Program to Grey-Bruce students.

JA is dedicated to teaching students worldwide about economic development and business, and the Company Program has a group of students develop and create a business with a plan over 18 weeks. This is done in conjunction with schools, and program co-ordinator Dan Blenkinsop says there’s no cost.

“The best part is there is no cost to the students. They simpley need to register on the website, www.JA-PLM.ca and get involved. There are a lot of spaces still available and we want more students to get involved,” says Blenkinsop.

Junior Achievement works with over 9.3-million students world-wide, with the goal being to help young people understand the economy and how to develop successful businesses, and to inspire young people to become young entrepreneurs.
