Minto is going to lend the North Wellington Health Care $1.5 million to help with construction of the doctor’s clinic at the Palmerston Hospital.
Minto is able to borrow the money at a favourable rate through Wellington County.
North Wellington Health Care will then pay back the money with interest over 30 years.
Construction of the Palmerston clinic is well past the half-way point.
