Jr. hockey wrap-up – October 10, 2018

The LaSalle Vipers dropped a 4-2 decision to the Komoka Kings in GOJHL action on Wednesday.

Kory Silverio and AJ Ryan scored the two goals for LaSalle.

The Vipers are in Sarnia on Thursday to face off against the Legionnaires at 7:10 p.m.

As well, the London Nationals shutout the St. Thomas Stars 4-0.

Bryce Lewis, Cohen Kiteley, Christian Polillo and Ryan McAllister all scored once for London.

The Nationals will return home on October 17 to take on the St. Marys Lincolns at 7 p.m.

And in Junior C hockey, the Wallaceburg Lakers fell 2-0 to the Amherstburg Admirals in their eighth straight loss.

Cory Burns and Ty Moss each scored a goal for Amherstburg.

The Lakers will travel to Wheatley on Saturday to battle the Sharks at 4:30 p.m. And then on Sunday, the Admirals are on home ice to play the Mooretown Flags at 7 p.m.

Also in Junior C hockey, the Essex 73's topped the Wheatley Sharks 5-3.

Josh Pope-Ferguson led Essex with two goals, while Dawson Winchester, Curtis Jackson and Michael Vieira all scored once.

Parker Boyle, Delaney MacDonald and Alixe Saliba each scored once for Wheatley.

The 73's are in Dresden on Friday to take on the Kings at 7:30 p.m. And on Saturday, the Sharks are at home again to face the Wallaceburg Lakers at 4:30 p.m.

And the Lakeshore Canadiens hammered the Mooretown Flags 6-1.

Nathan Skulley, Connor Dembinski, Eric Larue, Hunter Bailey, Ameen Fadel and Matt Smith each scored a goal for Lakeshore.

The Canadiens are back in Lakeshore on Friday battle the Petrolia Flyers at 7 p.m.
