Lightning Win 5th Straight, 118-101

Royce White scored 22 points as the London Lightning took their fifth in a row.

The Lightning completed a home-and-away series with the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans on Monday, Family Day. They completed a sweep of that series with a 118-101 win over the Titans at The Aud in Kitchener.

London has the best record in the NBL at 19-8.

Garrett Williamson added 17 points for the Lightning, and Kirk Williams Jr. put in another 17 off the bench. Williams also picked up a double-double by leading the team in rebounds with ten.

Kitchener-Waterloo's scoring leader was Ed Horton with 25 points. Justin Hurtt tacked on 18 points while Ahmad Starks and Nigel Tyghter chipped in 11 apiece. Tyghter and Derek Hall were the defensive co-leaders for the Titans with ten boards each.

The Lightning had the upperhand early, taking a 31-23 lead in the first quarter, then led 61-47 at halftime. London pulled away further in the third and held off a Titans challenge in the fourth.

London travels to Windsor Wednesday night to take on the Express.
