Surging Lightning Strike Niagara 143-132

Mo Bolden scored 32 points as the London Lightning continued their winning streak.

Bolden joined all of his fellow game starters in scoring double-digit points in the Lightning's 143-132 win over the Niagara River Lions at home Sunday afternoon. It's the eighth win in a row for the Lightning, who now have a 10-5 season record.

Royce White sank 29 points and had 12 assists for London, while Doug Herring Jr. added 22 points. Bolden also led the Lightning with nine rebounds.

London got out to a good lead early, outscoring the River Lions by ten in the first quarter and holding that margin with a 71-61 lead at halftime. That lead would be just what the Lightning needed as Niagara kept things close the remainder of the contest.

Marvell Waithe scored 24 points to lead the offence for Niagara. Guillaume Boucard was close behind with 25 points while Connor Wood followed with 24. Boucard led the defensive effort for the River Lions with nine rebounds.

The Kitchener-Waterloo Titans are up next for the Lightning when they meet at Budweiser Gardens Wednesday night.
