Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – January 12, 2017

The London Nationals doubled the Flyers 6-3 to snap Leamington's three game win streak on Thursday.

Ethan Nother led London with two goals, while Max Vinogradov, Brandon Glover, Michael Andlauer and Austin Kemp each scored once.

Mitchell Crevatin, Jaydon Fetter and Cale Phibbs scored one goal each for Leamington.

The Flyers return to the ice on Friday when they head to St. Marys to face off against the Lincolns at 7:30m. And on January 18, the Nationals are at home against the St. Thomas Stars at 7:30pm.

The LaSalle Vipers downed the Sarnia Legionnaires 4-3 in overtime.

Dede Cato scored the game winner for LaSalle in OT, while Brett Primeau, Nathan Savage and Liam MacDougall all scored once in regular play.

The Vipers will be at home on January 18 to take on the Leamington Flyers at 7pm.

And in the PJHL, the Lakeshore Canadiens topped the Petrolia Flyers 8-4 for their seventh straight win.

JJ Percy was top scorer for Lakeshore with a hat trick. Jake Nimmo, Connor Rosaasen, Joe Binder, Kyler Carter and Michael Long each contributed a goal as well.

The Canadiens will be on home ice on Friday when they battle the Essex 73's at 7pm.
