Kyle Johnson lead all scorers with 27 points as the London Lightning beat the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans at Budweiser Gardens 113-108 Saturday night.
Royce White added 17 points as the Lightning improved to 3-2 on the young season, second place in the NBL's Central Division. He also led London with 13 rebounds to pick up a double-double.
The Lightning had control of the contest from the very beginning, outscoring the Titans in the first quarter 39-25, then having a halftime lead of 62-47.
Adam Blazek led the Titans with 24 points and 12 rebounds for a double-double of his own. Ricky Tarrant was not too far behind with 20 additional points.
The Lightning are in the midst of a three-game series with the Titans. They travel to Kitchener Sunday for the second game before completing the series in London next Saturday.
