Knights Win Game 2 Against Spitfires

The London Knights doubled the Windsor Spitfires 6-3 to take Game 2 Saturday night at Budweiser Gardens.

The Knights now lead the Western Conference Quarter Final series 2-0.

After the first period, the Knights had a 3-0 lead with Max Domi and Nikita Zadorov scoring goals, one of which was made in the final 19 seconds.

The second period saw a fight at centre ice between the Knights Gemel Smith and the Spitfires Christiano Di Giacinto. That ended with five game misconducts being handed out.

The Knights final three goals of the game were scored by Chris Tierney, Brett Welychka and Bo Horvat.

Games 3 and 4 will be played in Windsor Tuesday and Thursday.
