London pair wanted in road rage, carjacking incident

London police are hoping the public can help them find a man and woman wanted in connection with a road rage incident that ended with a carjacking late last month.

According to police, the bizarre situation began when a vehicle swerved toward a pickup truck, narrowly missing it, at the intersection of Highbury Avenue and Oxford Street just before 9 p.m. on May 27. The driver of the pickup exchanged words with the two people inside the other vehicle, which then followed the truck all the way to a parking lot on Wellington Road near Southdale Road.

The drivers were continuing to argue in the parking lot, when a man and woman got out of the vehicle and began hitting the pickup's windshield with their hands. The truck driver got out of his vehicle and was allegedly struck with a baton, leaving him with minor injuries. A bottle was then thrown at him, before his truck was stolen by the other man.

The woman followed behind the stolen truck with the other vehicle, police said.

Police were called and the stolen truck was found abandoned shortly after in the area of Bowcott Crescent and Tartan Drive.

Using video surveillance police identified two suspects in the case.

Titus Clayton Quenneville-Gabriel, 32, and Kourtni Christina Marie McGean, 33, both of London, have been charged by way of warrant with assault with a weapon.

Quenneville-Gabriel is additionally charged with theft of a vehicle and two counts of failure to comply with release order.

Photos of the two accused were released to the public on Monday as police continued to search for them.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
