London human trafficking investigation leads to arrest of Kitchener man

A Kitchener man is facing several charges after an investigation by the London Police Service's Human Trafficking Unit.

On March 3, police said they were asked to perform a wellness check on a woman at a south end residence.

Leading up to this day, police allege that a London woman began chatting with a man over social media in early February. The man then began advertising sexual services to be performed by the woman in exchange for payment, according to police.

As a result of the investigation, 30-year-old Dylan T. Hodgins is facing multiple charges.

Hodgins is suspected of advertising another person's sexual services, receiving payment for sexual services, and for exercising control of another person.

The accused will appear in London court on April 25 to speak to the charges.

Anyone with information that may assist police in their investigation is asked to call (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
