When they arrived, they found two youths with apparent stab wounds. Both teens were taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they seized two knives.

"A suspect description of one male was provided to officers, and a youth was arrested nearby," police said. "A second suspect was identified and located, and the investigation is ongoing."

According to police, this is not believed to have been a random incident.
