The London Fire Department (LFD) requested a backhoe to overhaul a fire in East London.
LFD reported an active incident at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The fire department said that they responded to 1298 Trafalgar Street to find thick, black smoke coming from a pile of railway ties that were on fire.
By 5:45 p.m., it was reported that the fire was under control with crews rotating into the scene.
A backhoe was requested from the District Chief to complete an "extensive overhaul".
