Fire at SoHo playground considered suspicious

The London Fire Department says damage is estimated at almost $90,000 after fire damaged some playground equipment in a SoHo neighbourhood park.
Fire crews were called to Richard B. Harrison Park on South Street around 2 p.m. Wednesday. In video posted to the fire department’s Twitter account, a firefighter can be seen hosing down potential hot spots.

The fire department says the blaze did $87,000 worth of damage.
On Thursday morning, London police confirmed the blaze has been deemed as “suspicious in nature” and members of the police street crime unit and fire officials are continuing to investigate.
