Two charged in $250K drug bust

Two people face charges after London police say they seized over $250,000 worth of drugs and a loaded pistol.

Officers searched a home and two vehicles on Nelson Street and Hamilton Road on Wednesday.

According to police, they seized a loaded 40 calibre Glock semi-automatic pistol, a replica Glock pistol, and 13 rounds of ammunition. They also seized:

1,661 grams of methamphetamine 959 grams of cocaine 248 grams of fentanyl 95 grams of carfentanil 11 oxycodone pills $23,000 in cash Two digital scales Five cellular phones 10,600 grams of cutting agents.

Police say the drugs were worth a total of $251,487.

A 28-year-old from Toronto and a 23-year-old from London are each charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance.

The Toronto resident is also charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order and possession of a firearm or ammunitiion contrary to a prohibition order.

The Londoner is also charged with failing to comply with an undertaking.
