Bark in the Park returns after two-year pandemic pause

June 12 will be a day for the dogs.

After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Humane Society London and Middlesex has announced the return of Bark in the Park. The event, which is marking its 36th year, will be held at the Plunkett Estate at 9282 Elviage Dr. on June 12.

Unlike in previous years, the 2022 festivities will be split into two time slots - 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The day meant for dogs and their owners will include dock diving, an off-leash dog pond, lure course, silent auction, bouncy castles, dozens of food and product vendors and performances by The Ultimutts Stunt Dog Show and Cruisin’ Paws Agility.

Bark in the Park raises funds for the humane society, which broke ground last week on its new state-of-the-art animal shelter on Dundas Street.

Tickets will be available in-person at the gate or can be pre-purchased online at www.barkinpark.ca. The $20 admission allows an entire vehicle entry and parking.
