A man from Brant County faces charges after a vehicle slammed into a library in downtown Simcoe over the holiday long-weekend.
According to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Norfolk County, officers responded to a single-vehicle crash at around 11:45 p.m. along Talbot Street South.
Upon arrival, police learned a vehicle crashed into a wall at the Norfolk County Public Library Simcoe branch.
No injuries have been reported.
Police have since charged a 33-year-old man from Ohsweken with operation while impaired by alcohol or drugs and operation with a blood alcohol limit exceeding 80 milligrams.
The accused is scheduled to appear in a Simcoe courtroom at a later date.
