Singh campaigning in London on behalf of provincial NDP leader

Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath, who continues to recover from COVID-19, is getting some help on the campaign trail in London from her federal counterpart.

Federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh will be at London North Centre NDP candidate Terence Kernaghan's campaign office on Dundas Street at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Singh and Kernaghan will also be joined by London Fanshawe and London West candidates Teresa Armstrong and Peggy Sattler.

Singh began making the rounds on the NDP campaign bus over the long weekend for Horwath who had to isolate after testing positive for COVID-19 last week.

Prior to his London stop, Singh will be campaigning for Horwath in Brantford.

Elsewhere on the campaign trail, the Progressive Conservative's Doug Ford will make an announcement Tuesday morning in Brampton before moving onto Scarborough.

Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca has multiple stops scheduled Tuesday in the GTA where he will be talking about affordable housing and buck-a-ride public transit.

Green Party Leader Mike Schreiner, who also contracted COVID-19 last week, continues to campaign virtually.

Ontarians go to the polls on June 2.
