A child pornography bust in Woodstock has left a young man facing seven charges.

Woodstock police searched a home in the city this week and arrested the youth.

He has since been charged with manufacturing, distributing, possessing, and accessing child pornography, sexual interference, sexual assault, and invitation to sexual touching.

The youth’s name cannot be released because of his age. He has been released from custody with a future court date.

No other details about the investigation have been released.

Police are reminding the public to report suspicious Internet activities relating to child exploitation to the Woodstock Police Service, or online at www.cybertip.ca.
