Police in St. Thomas say a man has turned himself in to face accusations he sexually assaulted his roommate.
The St. Thomas Police Service said Thursday that an investigation began earlier this month after a woman reported that she had been sexually assaulted on March 9. According to police, a suspect surrendered on Wednesday.
A 21-year-old man, who police say is the victim's roommate, is charged with one count of sexual assault.
He was released from custody with a future court date.
