A London man is facing a list of charges after accusations he sexually assaulted and trafficked a minor.
According to London police, a woman came forward last month to report that she had been trafficked and assaulted between 2015 and 2018. Police launched an investigation that has resulted in charges against a 36-year-old man.
Somtonnamdi Anazodo of London is charged with:
• Advertising another person’s sexual services • Trafficking a person under the age of 18 years • Getting financial benefit from trafficking person under 18 years • Printing, publishing, or possession of child pornography • Unlawfully possessing child pornography • Sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age • Invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age • Sexual exploitation of a young person • Sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age • Assault • Assault with a weapon • Failing to comply with release order
He is in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on March 28.
Police believe there may be more victims.
