Update: snow squall watch lifted

Even though many were still digging out from Monday's brutal winter storm, more snow fell on the region Tuesday.

Snow squalls developed off Lake Huron on Tuesday morning, leading Environment Canada to issue a snow squall watch for London, Parkhill, and eastern Middlesex County early Tuesday morning. The watch has since been lifted.

On Monday, around 18 cm of snow fell across the city, prompting numerous bus cancellations and a slow morning commute. No serious collisions were reported, but police were called to multiple fender-benders.

Side streets in London that have yet to see the plow should be cleared by Tuesday evening.
