UPDATE: Windy Wednesday in store for parts of southwestern Ontario

Environment Canada has ended a weather advisory after chilly winds blew through the region on Wednesday.

The weather agency lifted the wind advisory late Wednesday evening for areas including Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, Sarnia-Lambton, London-Middlesex, Elgin, and Oxford.

Wind gusts reached anywhere between 60-80 kilometres per hour before the advisory ended.
